Hi Babes,

Ever wonder what my skin care routine looks like? This post shares all the products and steps to my skin care routine.

Exfoliate 2-3 Times Per Week

This is so crucial to having nice skin! Exfoliating clears your face of all dead skin cells – especially during the winter from dry skin – and sets you up for a clean, smooth canvas to start your skincare routine with. My favorite is St. Ives Apricot Scrub (fun fact, LaLa from Vanderpump Rules uses the same).

Retinol Face Wash

I use a Retinol face wash that I bought at T.J. Maxx for less than $5 every morning after I shower! Retinol is a huge part of my skincare routine and I’m obsessed with it because of it’s anti-aging benefits.

Retinol Serum

I use a Retinol Serum that I also bought from T.J. Maxx most mornings after washing my face. I only use a drop or two and I actually use the serum the most on my neck. Always be sure to apply any serum or moisturizer on your face and neck in upward and out motions, as if you were lifting and tightening your face. You never want to rub something into your face pulling down – that’s a gravity aging recipe for disaster.

Collagen SPF 15 Moisturizer

Every morning I apply a Collagen moisturizer with SPF 15 in it. It’s so important to start wearing a moisturizer with sunscreen in it every day when you’re in your 20’s. A tan face is hot but there are ways to look like that without setting yourself up to have wrinkles five years from now.

Eye Cream

I never go a day without applying eye cream in the morning and also before bed. My favorite is a serum with Retinol and 24K Gold (another one of my favorite anti-aging and skincare ingredients). You can purchase eye creams for very reasonable prices, but if for some reason you find yourself without, use Vaseline instead. When I have kids I’m going to have them rub Vaseline around their eyes before bed every day starting when they are like 10. Major key to avoiding Crows Feet and it’s just a great habit to get into that I feel you’re never too young to start.

Kiehl’s Face Cream Most Days

Kiehl’s is an amazing brand and their face cream is unreal. I probably use this face cream 4 times per week. It really depends on how my skin feels that day. If it’s a day where I’m using multiple serums already, I probably skip it for that day. But I’m a huge fan of putting this on before bed especially. Kiehl’s is worth the price, you really get what you pay for with their products and they last for so long. This is the perfect face cream to apply the day after doing a clay or mud face mask to hydrate your skin and give it that extra glow.

Vitamin C Serum 2x Per Week

I use this serum 1 – 2 times every week. It’s super refreshing and I feel like it tightens my skin, however it’s not necessary to use more than twice a week in my opinion. It can cause you to break out if you use it too often (unlike Retinol which most people could use 10 times a week without breaking out). Definitely worth using and something I couldn’t imagine my skincare routine without.

Clay Face Mask 1x Per Week

I started adding this Clay face mask into my skincare routine about a year ago after reading an article of beauty products Victoria Secret Angels swear by and have continued using it ever since. It for sure makes a huge difference and you can actually feel your skin getting more tight and firm immediately when using this mask. Just make sure you use a moisturizer after!

Rosewater Facial Spray

I love misting my face with a spray or two of this throughout the day. It’s refreshing and makes me feel clean and alert. It’s really nice to use in the summer or when you’re laying out especially.

Under Eye Pads

I live for under eye masks. I use them as often as I can! When I have them, I wake up and get out of bed excited to use them. I previously wrote a post solely about how much I love this part of my skincare routine. Kylie Jenner is another big fan of under eye pads, in her YouTube vlogs she’s often seen with them on before she starts her glam for the day.

Perricone MD Facial Cream

This was the first anti-aging product I ever purchased when I noticed my skin was starting to look the tiniest bit different than it did when I was 20. If you’re starting to notice signs of aging and want a product that will give you NOTICEABLE results in less than a week, I for sure recommend this. The instructions on the back are really simple but helpful- pat the product into your skin, focusing on your cheeks, forehead and jawline.

Rose Quartz Facial Roller

I actually just recently purchased this and I’m so obsessed. I have been seeing celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian post about these skincare roller tools so I thought I would give it a shot. You just roll in up and outward motions gently on your face and neck and it really does tighten your skin and give a contoured look. A major life-hack is to keep this in your refrigerator or freezer!!! I’ve been keeping my skincare products in the fridge for years now (I even went through a phase a few years back where I would keep spoons in the freezer and hold them against my eyes when I woke up) and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s such a great feeling to use cold products when you wake up and it takes any puffiness or inflammation down ASAP.

Lip Scrub (Exfoliate)

Lip scrubs are life-changing! I use either the Elf one pictured in this post or the bubblegum lip scrub from Lush. I use it every morning and every night. It’s so helpful to use a lip scrub first thing in the morning because it prepares your lips to look perfect and soft and makes lipstick, liner and gloss all look so much better on.

Kiehl’s Lip Balm

This is one product I couldn’t live without. I use it directly after the lip scrub, every morning and every night.

Body Oil

I personally prefer body oil over moisturizer. It’s way cheaper and lasts longer and I get compliments on how soft my skin is all the time! I use it right after showering. Just make sure you wash your hands really well after using so that you don’t by accidentally touch your face with oil or get it on anything like clothes or fabric.

Self-Tanning Body Milk

If you read my blog, you know how hard I’ve repped St. Tropez since day one. I officially have a self-tanner I love even more. My neighbor who was moving back to Morocco gave me this product and that’s how I discovered it. It’s so so amazing because not only does it give as even and beautiful of a glowing tan as St. Tropez- you don’t even have to wash this one off. It’s a body milk so the product is the color of a normal lotion. It doesn’t smell like self-tanner or get on any clothes or sheets and you don’t have to shower to rinse it off after a few hours.

XoXo,

Beth
