September 24, 2019

Hi Babes,

Do you ever have trouble relaxing after a long of stressful day at work? Check out how I unwind after a long or stressful day in this post!

#ESSENTIAL Item Checklist for Beth’s Routine:

1. Candles

2. Shower Salts & Bubble Bath

3. Relaxing Music/Podcast

4. Hot Tea

5. Essential Oils & Face Masks

6. Silk Pillow Cases & Eye Masks

1. Candles:

Some of my favorite scents especially for when I’m looking to unwind and relax are Vanilla, Lavender, and Coconut.

Check out or purchase on of my favorite Lavender candles from T.J Maxx online for $7.90 by Clicking Here.

2. Shower Salts & Bath Bombs:

Shower Salts, Bubble Baths, and Bath Bombs are so calming to me and really help take my mind off the long day I had at work.

One of my favorite products is: Argan Oil & Lavender Bath Bomb from Ulta. You can purchase your own online for $8.00 by Clicking Here.

3. Relaxing Music or Podcast:

I find that grabbing a pair of headphones or Air Pods and listening to some relaxing music or a podcast almost immediately when I get home from work is helpful for me to unwind.

Whatever is relaxing to you! Listen to it. This is a great way of separating your present time from the stressful day you are leaving behind you from work.

4. Hot Tea:

Hot tea is very soothing and is a great way to avoid stress and calm ourselves down in the evening. Sometimes I even just sip on hot water, I just find it soothing! The types of teas I prefer in the evening are chamomile and peppermint. Just make sure the tea that you are drinking is caffeine-free!You can order one of my favorite teas – Tazo Calm Chamomile, by clicking: Here.

5. Essential Oils & Face Masks:

I find essential oils and face masks very relaxing after a long day. It’s great to just lie down for 15 minutes with a cooling, moisturizing sheet face mask on. I also love essential oils and serums and them to help me prepare for bed.

My favorite essential oil is a lavender-based one. I really enjoy green-tea sheet face masks because I find them to be soothing, as well as bring down inflammation or puffiness.

6. Satin Pillow Cases & Silk Eye Masks:

I first read about the difference that using satin pillow cases can make in a persons night of sleep from an article posted by Kourtney Kardashian. She swears by this so, of course, I had to try it. And she was rightit makes an unbelievable difference. And the best part is, you don’t have to break the bank to try this luxurious trend. You can order 2 king satin Pillow Cases for just $16.99 by Clicking here.I decided to step this up a notch and invest in a silk eye mask and I cannot recommend it enough. My absolute favorite is the SILK MAGNOLIA- Silk Eye Mask. You can order from TJ Maxx online, by Clicking here.

XoXo,

Beth
