How I Unwind After a Stressful Day

1. Candles:

Some of my favorite scents especially for when I’m looking to unwind and relax are Vanilla, Lavender, and Coconut.

2. Shower Salts & Bath Bombs:

3. Relaxing Music or Podcast:

I find that grabbing a pair of headphones or Air Pods and listening to some relaxing music or a podcast almost immediately when I get home from work is helpful for me to unwind.

Whatever is relaxing to you! Listen to it. This is a great way of separating your present time from the stressful day you are leaving behind you from work.

4. Hot Tea:

Hot tea is very soothing and is a great way to avoid stress and calm ourselves down in the evening. Sometimes I even just sip on hot water, I just find it soothing! The types of teas I prefer in the evening are chamomile and peppermint. 5. Essential Oils & Face Masks:

I find essential oils and face masks very relaxing after a long day. It’s great to just lie down for 15 minutes with a cooling, moisturizing sheet face mask on. I also love essential oils and serums and them to help me prepare for bed.

My favorite essential oil is a lavender-based one. I really enjoy green-tea sheet face masks because I find them to be soothing, as well as bring down inflammation or puffiness.
