Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection —
I know that this product is expensive, but if you can afford the $42 or are saving up to splurge on something soon, I PROMISE you will not regret buying this! I purchased this contour kit over six months ago and use it almost everyday and it looks like it has barely been used at all. You can still see the entire surface of all four colors which is always a great feeling 🙂 I bought mine from Sephora. I’m obsessed with the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection because you can use this kit differently everyday. It can be used for a casual look during the day and can also be used to totally transform you into a glowing goddess at night! I also have bought the Too Faced Cocoa bronzers in the past so it is great to have the option to simply use the bronzers on certain days, as well.
The Contour kit comes with great instructions on how to use it, but when it comes to contouring I have learned that everyone has their own unique way they prefer to do it.
Here’s a description of how I personally apply this product to get the look I’m raving about:
- I will use a round brush (not the one that comes with the kit) to use the “Dark Cocoa” color below my cheek bones, in that hollowed out area that you can find by sucking your cheeks in and making a fishy face. I will use what is left on the brush from the “Dark Cocoa” just lightly under my chin and along my jawline.
- I use a round brush as well to apply the “Medium Cocoa” on my forehead, ears, neck, and upper part of my cheeks. Something really helpful a woman from Sephora once told me is that you only want to apply bronzer on areas your face would get sunburnt if you laid out too long… I hope that helps to clarify where I use the “Medium Cocoa” on my cheeks.
- I use the applicator brush that comes with the kit to use the “Light Cocoa” in a half circle motion underneath my eyes. I use the same brush to dab a small circle of the same color on my chin, a small touch of it on the area right above your upper lip and below your nose (Cupid’s bow), and a thin brush of it slightly above each eyebrow.
- Last but certainly not least, I use the applicator brush to apply the “Pop of Light” along the bridge of my nose.
I hope you dolls take my advice and consider spending your next splurge on this! I really don’t think you will regret it 🙂 And if you do purchase the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection and have any questions about using it, please feel free to comment them on this post and I will be sure to answer them as best I can.
